Inspiration or Desperation

“In life you need either inspiration or desperation to make a change”

– Tony Robbins

“86% of full time American workers sit all day at their job which can lead to weight gain, muscle imbalances, and a higher risk of health problems like diabetes and heart disease.” The Training Edge, Spring 2014
Who is ready for a little adult recess?
Exercise is known to:
  • prevent, treat and cure common chronic health conditions (heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, and diabetes to name a few)
  • increase your lean muscle and strength
  • reduce symptoms of depression
  • boost your energy and metabolism
  • promote better sleep
  • the list continues….
Only 25% of the American adult population engages in at least 30 minutes of low-to-moderate physical activity on most days of the week.
Tip for the day: Find what motivates you to be healthy and use that to complete 30 minutes of exercise today. Go to the gym. Run up and down your stairs. Take a brisk walk. Do burpees and lunges with your grand kids or kids. And don’t forget to make smart choices in the kitchen!!
All the Best!
